Psychonauts 2 Gameplay is a Mix of Gorgeous Visuals & Old-School Platforming Nostalgia
Check out some in-progress gameplay from the upcoming Psychonauts sequel.
Following it’s incredibly successful Kickstarter campaign, Psychonauts 2 is on its way. And although it’s still some time away from its vague 2018 release date, the team over at Double Fine is making progress on the long-awaited sequel.
The studio has released a new art test demonstration level called “Quarry Map”, which showcases a fairly linear map which the development team is using as a way to experiment with construction, decoration and rendering, which gives an idea of how the final game will look and feel.
Check out the video footage below, in which project lead Zak McClendon talks through the progress with Tim Schafer.
