Rage Cape Town Gaming Expo and LAN Ticket Details
Details on when you’ll be able to nab your tickets to Cape Town’s inaugural rAge event have been released.
The biggest gaming event in South Africa is on its way to the Mother City, and Capetonians will soon be able to immerse themselves in the latest video games, technology and geek culture at the GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World. rAge Cape Town will build on the 13-year history of awesome rAge events, with its own unique feel so gamers can get their geek on in true Cape Town style.
What can Capetonians expect? Michael James, rAge Senior Project Manager, says, “Our aim is to deliver a rAge experience to Cape Town on a smaller scale at first, but eventually nurturing it into something enchanting in its own right. We don’t know what it’s going to look like and we don’t know who’s going to be there, but we do want it to be so impressive that even the Johannesburg crowd, who’ve grown so accustomed to rAge rolling around every year, will also want to attend.”
rAge Johannesburg attracted 35,000 people over three days this year and, as with all rAge events, rAge Cape Town will bring together developers, manufacturers, avid gamers and fans, with attendees getting first access to the latest games, comic books, digital lifestyle gear, collectible card games, trends and more. Visitors can also join the wildly popular NAG LAN in Cape Town, where over 500 gamers will spend an exhilarating 52 hours enjoying a truly epic gaming experience.
For 2016, rAge ticket prices for both Cape Town and Johannesburg will remain the same as 2015. What self-respecting Capetonian geek wouldn’t love to find a rAge expo weekend ticket or NAG LAN ticket in their Christmas stocking.
NAG LAN tickets for Cape Town will go on sale at 9am on 28 November at Computicket outlets and online at www.computicket.co.za.
Expo tickets for Cape Town go on sale on 1 December 2015 at Computicket outlets and online at www.computicket.co.za.
