Resident Evil 4 Remake Revealed, Watch the First Trailer

While Capcom had essentially confirmed that a full remake of the fourth instalment in their long-running Resident Evil franchise has in the works, the game has now been fully unveiled at Playstation’s State of Play event.

Much like the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 remakes which were released in 2019 and 2020 respectively, Resident Evil 4 will be a full, built-from-the-ground-up reimagining of the 2005 classic.

The announcement came with a CG trailer which gave a glimpse at the redesigned Leon Kennedy character, as well as the familiar European village and castle setting that the game takes place in.

Resident Evil 4 will launch on 24 March 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
