Rise of the Tomb Raider: New Images And Details
Check out some brand-spanking new details for the upcoming sequel to 2013’s Tomb Raider reboot.
It’s been almost two years since the adventures of Lara Croft saw a welcomed revamp, and now developer Crystal Dynamics is starting to tease us with what’s on offer in the highly-anticipated sequel.
In the yet-to-be-released March issue of Game Informer, the magazine got up close and personal with the development team to find out a bit more about Rise of the Tomb Raider, and also got their hands on some new artwork and screenshots from the game.
As for the plot of the game, Rise of the Tomb Raider will send Lara to the frozen wilds of Siberia on a hunt for the lost secrets of immortality. Now Lara will have to hunt and craft new survival gear in order to take on larger puzzle tombs and a deadly new enemy, a secret society that has been lying in the shadows since the last game.
As for the platforms announced, Lara will gear up for her new adventure on Xbox One and Xbox 360 this holiday season, but the studio hasn’t ruled out the possibility that the game will come to other consoles later on. It’s likely just a timed Microsoft exclusive, which will inevitably make its way to PS4, PS3, and PC.

Looks insane! The last Tomb Raider game I played was Tomb Raider 2 and this looks miles ahead of its predecessor. It must have been difficult continuing the franchise after those dreadful movies with Angelina Jolie.
