Rugby 15 cover stars South Africa

Fans have been dying for a new rugby game for quite some time now, but HB Studios and Big Ben Interactive’s upcoming Rugby 15 is sure to scratch that itch.

Apex Interactive, local distributors for Big Ben Interactive titles, has confirmed that the game will land in November.

Apex Interactive also confirmed to MenStuff that the game will feature South African players on the cover, unlike the European edition (above), which has Toulouse captain Thierry Dusautoir, Toulon flyhalf Frédéric Michalak and Clermont centre Wesley Fofana – all representatives from the French Top 14.

Given that the only confirmed licenses at this point include the French Top 15, Pro D2, and Aviva Premiership, it’s likely that it will be South African stars from teams in those leagues, however, nothing is confirmed at this point and we’ll have to wait and see.

Rugby 15 is currently in development for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita and PC, and will be released on 14 November 2014.
