While it’s been a long time in development, and literally changed from Rugby 24 to Rugby 25, the latest game from Big Ant Studios has finally landed its release date.

Rugby 25 will launch on 13 February 2025 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4 and PC, as confirmed by a number of retailer listings across the globe. The date hasn’t been explicitly confirmed by developer Big Ant Studios, but retailer leaks have shown that physical copies of the game are out in the wild, lending weight to the release date confirmation.

Rugby 25 will include over 140 International Teams including New Zealand, South Africa, England, France and Australia, plus over 150 Club Sides in 11 Competitions with URC, English Premiership Rugby, French Top 14, MLR and Super Rugby.

The game has been in Early Access mode on Steam for over 6 months, and with numerous updates from the developer, the game is finally ready to hit shelves.

The game itself has received a positive response from players who tried the Early Access, with each update making notable improvements to the general flow and features of the game.
