EA and Bioware’s open-world third person action game, Anthem, is set to be one of the biggest games of 2019, and to hype up the release next week, District 9 and Elysium director Neill Blomkamp has directed a live-action trailer for the game.

Set “decades before the events of the game”, the new trailer from Blomkamp’s Oats Studios (seriously, watch their stuff) showcases the world of Anthem and Javelin armoured body suits which are the main draw-cards in the game, along with a little bit of context as to what’s happening, but it’s still pretty vague.

Despite the ambiguity, the trailer players out like a fully-fledged trailer for a big-budget movie, so we’re not complaining.

Check it out above, and look out for Anthem when it launches on 22 February on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
