The news on the beloved horror franchise Silent Hill has been quiet for quite some time, but Konami has announced a host of new Silent Hill projects to give some excitement to fans of the long-running series.

Firstly, it has been confirmed that a Silent Hill 2 remake is in the works by Bloober Team, who previously released the psychological horror title, The Medium.

The Silent Hill 2 remake will be a PS5 and PC timed-exclusive for 12 months before heading to other platforms, most likely.

Two other games, Silent Hill: Towerfall and Silent Hill F, were revealed, although details on these two projects were slim as they’re early in the development stages.

To cap off Konami’s announcements, the studio also announced that a new Silent Hill movie, Return to Silent Hill, will happen, with original Silent Hill film writer and director Christophe Gans back on board to helm the project.
