Sunset Overdrive: first gameplay footage

Insomniac Games has released the first official gameplay footage of its upcoming Xbox One exclusive, Sunset Overdrive, and what awesome footage it is.

The four-minute trailer for the open-world Xbox One exclusive exhibits how players will traverse the streets and rooftops of Sunset City while blasting hordes of enemies with eccentric weaponry. Microsoft also announced that the game will release in fall 2014.

Wall-running, ziplining, rail grinding, and super jumping let the player character cover a lot of ground fast.

Beyond Insomniac’s typically strange arsenal – weapons range from bowling ball launchers to Roman Candle repeaters – players can customize their characters with more than 50 Amps, enabling extra abilities like air dashes or bursts of flame from grinding rails.
