The weekend has arrived, and with it comes some new gaming specials for local console and PC fans to enjoy. We’ve scoured the local online and brick-and-mortar retailers to hunt down the very best deals available… because saving money while still gaming is pretty cool.

Digital deals
On the digital deals front, the Playstation Store has a “Deal of the Week” promo on Prey, pricing it at R779. There is also a promotion on various DLC packs, including expansions for games such as The Witcher 3, Bloodborne, and Far Cry 4.
Other than that, it’s that time of the month when we get to find out what free games Playstation Plus members will be adding to their library on 6 June. Those free games are the multiplayer monster shoot-fest Killing Floor 2 and the story-driven Life is Strange.
Xbox:
