Watch Footage from the Unreleased Superman Video Game

There have been some pretty amazing superhero games released in recent years, but with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hitting cinemas this week, we really wish there was a decent game based on the Man of Steel.

Well, there was… kinda, but it was cancelled before even making it to consoles.

Developer Factor 5 (best remembered for its excellent Star Wars: Rogue Squadron) was also once working on a Superman game which would marry the studio’s expertise in aerial controls with the DC universe and the iconic hero’s many comic book foes.

The game was scheduled to release on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii, but Factor 5 closed down before the game got close enough to launch; so cancelled-video game investigator Unseen 64 decided to dig up what he could find of the infamous game:
