Puma’s models are among the standout boots at this year’s Rugby World Cup, and are also being donned by the biggest football stars on the globe. The German brand has now unleashed a new colourway pack at the height of the current line-up’s popularity, giving a blue coat of paint to the Ultra, Future, and King.

The “Gear Up Pack” features dark blue, volt, and black undertones to the three boot silos, giving an understated but slick look to the models.

The King features a very dark shade of navy blue, with a volt and blue Puma strip on the side of the boot. The Futures have an almost petrol-like blue shade with some shimmer to them; and the Ultras are the lightest of the bunch, with a punchy blue with a matching brand decal.

The Gear Up Pack is to be worn by the likes of football stars Neymar Jr., Kingsley Coman, Ingrid Engen, Fridolina Rolfö, Julia Grosso, Jack Grealish, and Xavi Simons. South African rugby stars who will wear the boot include Makazole Mapimpi, Canan Moodie, Lukhanyo Am, Jaden Hendrikse, Vincent Koch, Jean Kleyn, Trevor Nyakane, Marco van Staden, Bongi Mbonambi, RG Snyman and Duane Vermeulen.

Puma’s speed boot is one of the best on the market currently, and is often worn by some of the world’s best players in their respective leagues. Young Bok breakout star Canan Moodie has been rocking Pumas since arriving on the scene, and will be wearing the Ultra Ultimate model during his time at the World Cup.
