The Hottest Boots of the 2018 World Cup
Which snazzy shooters should you keep an eye out for in Russia?
The 2018 World Cup in Russia is here, and while there are some stellar players to keep an eye out for, the feet of said stars will also be in the limelight. The leading football boot brands have all launched some special entries into their boot ranges for the big event – and we’re going to take a look at the best of the bunch.
Nike
Nike’s ‘Just Do It’ 2018 range consists of four of their silos all getting similarly themed colour treatments; a white base with hits of loud colour across the sole plates and accents like the swoosh, and lace holes.
The best among them are probably two collared models; the Mercurial Superfly 6 and the Hypervenom Phantom III:
You can expect to see the Mercurial’s being worn by none other than Cristiano Ronaldo – can he take Portugal from Euro 2016 winners to something greater this year?

Adidas
Adidas’ equivalent is the ‘Energy Mode’ Range – also their main boot models but instead of their boots sharing an overlapping theme, they’ve got each boot with its own look and feel.
The boots of choice here are undoubtedly the Predators – simply because they’re Adidas’ most talked about modern boot for over a decade. Since Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham both wore them playing for Real Madrid, they’ve reached a status few boots can boast. Look out for them on the feet of France’s Paul Pogba – a player who will want to redeem France’s disappointing Euro 2016 run with a victory in Russia.

Puma
The Puma One 1 is without a doubt the Puma boot that will catch the most eyes, if only because of the ‘Illuminate’ purple and teal colour scheme that looks like nothing we’ve really seen on a football boot before. They’ll also be on Antoine Griezmann’s feet – another of the French crop of players that will want to get their Euro 2016 failure out of their heads.
