JP Pietersen out of Sharks, Boks
JP Pietersen has sustained a serious groin injury that will see the winger side-lined for the remainder of the Super Rugby tournament and the Springbok tests in June.

Sharks and Springbok winger JP Pietersen has sustained a serious groin injury which will see him miss the rest of the Super Rugby tournament and the June Springbok tests.
Pietersen picked up the injury during the Sharks’ tour of Australia, and has returned to undergo surgery on Tuesday.
Young Sharks back Piet Lindeque is expected to move into the outside centre position, where Pietersen was playing in the absence of Paul Jordaan.
Butch James is also expected to be called up into the inside centre position, as Meyer Bosman’s nose was broken during the match against the Western Force last weekend.
The injury will then see Pietersen miss the remainder of the Sharks’ season, along with the Springbok tests against Italy, Scotland and possibly Samoa.
