While building a real dinosaur theme park has proven to be a bad idea thanks to countless Jurassic Park films, a robotic dinosaur park has been greenlit. That said, thinking about it, robotic dinosaurs could also pose quite a humanity-destroying problem…

Anyway!

Universal Studios and Neon have teamed up with Asian building conglomerate Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC) in a $35 million investment project to build a 6,000 square metre dino-park in Bangkok, Thailand.

Jurassic World: The Experience immerses audiences of all ages in settings inspired by the globally popular Jurassic World film franchise. Unlike a traditional theme park, visitors to this unique experience will find themselves surrounded by life-like, full-size animatronic dinosaurs and environments inspired by iconic scenes within Jurassic World as they navigate Isla Nublar, while making their way to safety in an unforgettable exploration of the island’s wonders.

All the animatronic dinosaurs are set to be powered by ANIMAX, a fully owned subsidiary and a world-class creative animatronics powerhouse that specialises in research and development, engineering and entertainment robotics, with state-of-the-art facilities located in Nashville, US, Wuxi, China and the Middle East.

The park will be a bigger and more grandiose version of the Jurassic World Experience which does pop events all over the world.

The location of the park will be at the Asiatique: The Riverfront Destination in Bangkok and is scheduled to open in Q2 2025.
