Bearded Men, Now You Have Your Own Social Network

Having a beard can be awesome, incredible and downright manly, but it can also set you apart in the dating pool, for better or worse. Well, now there’s a social network specifically for bearded men to connect with other like minded fellas (to chat about beards, or whatever) and to meet woman looking for a man with an epic crumb-catcher. 

Bristlr (pronounced in a pirate voice as “bristle err”) is the new site that connects beard-wearers and beard-lovers, and is similar to that of Facebook more than Tinder, albeit with some more man-fur. It’s not really meant to be a dating site but rather a light-hearted social media platform. 

The site’s 28-year-old British founder, John Kershaw, says the idea first started out as a joke but has become so popular that it’s now a real thing.
