Cheese Is Good For You, According To Scientists

New study shows dairy is good for your metabolic health, and almost half of those surveyed are not getting enough.

Everything tastes better with cheese – it’s a fact – and if you needed any more reason to indulge in some cheesy treats, a new study has found that cheese is, in fact, not only recommended, but it’s good for you.

The study, which was conducted by one of Quebec’s leading teaching hospitals, found that eating cheese and other dairy products daily is good for your metabolism and helps lower blood pressure.

Not only that, but the study also suggests that most people aren’t eating enough cheese. “This study adds to a growing body of literature demonstrating a lack of detrimental health effects with higher dairy intake,” reads the findings. “However, nearly 45% of the population in this study did not meet Canada’s Food Guide recommendations of at least 2 portions of dairy products a day.”

Well, there you go, eat more cheese… for science and stuff.
