New Billiards Club Opens in Cape Town

A new dedicated billiards club and restaurant has launched in Cape Town, bringing a unique location for players and fans alike to share their passion and enjoy some drinks and food.

Sessions Billiard Club, the first of its kind in Africa, offers a unique blend of a lively pub sports bar atmosphere alongside a dedicated U/18 friendly zone equipped with top-notch equipment.

Focused on the formats of “American 9ft” Billiard and Heyball (Chinese Pool), the club aims to provide a safe, clean, and classy establishment for both social and professional enjoyment. Featuring ten American 9ft tables and four 7ft tables, as well as three Heyball tables, Sessions Billiard Club caters to a diverse range of billiards enthusiasts. They also offer a selection of drinks and food, including pizzas and chicken baskets, along with cocktail specials, beer on tap and other delectable dishes.

The club is open every day of the week, but opening and closing times differ over the course of the week, so be sure to check out the official site for details on operating hours.

There are also weekly events that take place at the club, with a Thursday night Heyball social competition taking place (R100 entry, R50 for lights p/h), along with Happy Hour specials from 4pm to 8pm between Monday and Friday.

Sessions Billard Club is located at unit 12 and 13 in Tyger Manor Centre, on the corner of Durban Road, Bill Bezuidenhout Road, and Willie Van Schoor Avenue, in Bellville, Cape Town.
