Getting your caffeine fix on a hot summer’s day isn’t always the easiest which is why caffeine lovers will be thrilled to hear that Starbucks has just launched Cold Brew and Nitro Cold Brew on tap in South Africa! The new Cold Brews are now available in Starbucks South Africa Reserve stores around the country, giving customers even more choice when choosing what to order that their friendly neighbourhood Starbucks.

Cold Brew coffee is made by steeping grounds in cool filtered water for 24 hours, creating a smoother taste and developing the unique flavours of the bean being used. The best thing? Cold Brew can be easily customised by adding flavoured syrups, milk or dairy alternatives for added luxury.

Nitro Cold Brew takes coffee to the next level by infusing it with nitrogen, unleashing the smooth, natural sweetness of the bean. This brew is served cold and unsweetened without ice as it highlights the organic creamy flavours of the coffee that are brought out in the nitro process.

The Starbucks Cold Brew menu includes Starbucks Cold Brew (a straight up cold brew), Cold Brew Vanilla Sweet Cream (slightly sweetened and topped with a vanilla cream), Cold Foam Iced Cappuccino (poured over ice, slightly sweetened and poured through a special cold foam made with skimmed milk), and Cold Brew Nitro (infused with nitrogen and served cold with no ice).
