This Is The Difference A Man-Makeover Can Make

I recently conducted a few male makeovers in the Kurt Geiger store in Sandton City to demonstrate the difference the right clothing can make to a man’s look.

This is Ntando’s makeover:

His build:

Ntando’s shoulders and hips are in proportion. The aim is to emphasise his physique with fitted silhouettes.

His look before:

The black shirt he is wearing is too big for him, so he looses shape. You can’t really see that his build is balanced. The black of his shirt ‘blends’ with his complexion instead of enhancing it.

What I did for Ntando’s makeover and why:

• The bright blue shirt enhances and highlights his lovely dark complexion
• The shirt is a slim fit in the correct size, which works to show off his natural balance. The slim leg trousers also work to show off his slim build.
• The pointy shoes create the illusion that his legs are longer than they are, thus making him look taller.
