UFC’s Dana White Launches Howler Head Whiskey in South Africa

Howler Head, the whiskey company co-founded by UFC President Dana White, has now launched in South Africa, bringing its flavoured whiskey product to the local market.

In 2021, UFC partnered with the brand, a collaboration that has since propelled the whiskey brand to become one of the fastest-growing in the world. This rapid growth is attributed to the whiskey’s unique flavour profile and its expansive global reach, bolstered by its association with UFC.

Launching in South Africa, this hand-crafted award winning 80 proof Kentucky straight bourbon blended with natural banana flavour is no light-weight. UFC President and Howler Head founder, Dana White, says that Howler Head is perfect for fight night, or any other night. White has repeatedly expressed his love for the whiskey and called it one of the best whiskeys he has ever tasted. “We couldn’t be prouder of Howler Head extending its sponsorship with UFC. The whiskey begins its journey at Owensboro-based Green River Distilling Company in Kentucky, using proprietary yeast, grains, and mineral-rich water filtered through Kentucky limestone before barrelling. The Bourbon is then aged in American white oak barrels for two years, which results in this spirit aperitif featuring a unique balance of toasted oak, spicy rye and sweet natural banana flavours, to be enjoyed chilled in a tot glass, with cola and ice, or in a variety of delicious cocktails.
