Women Crush Wednesday: Bailey Schneider

She calls herself Vanilla Blonde Bailey – but to us, she’s that fun, bubbly presenter that caught our attention on Expresso Show with Beauty With Bailey, and currently stealing our hearts on Smile FM in Cape Town.

Recently announcing she’s expecting her first baby, with her internationally known DJ husband, DJ Sox, there’s no doubt that Bailey is MenStuff’s Women Crush Wednesday!

Recently Married

What’s your idea of the perfect date?
Anywhere outdoors. I am a sucker for picnics.

Who is your celebrity crush and why?
Adam Levine. He could serenade me, while being funny and down to earth.

What do you look for in a man?
Someone who is witty. I love good banter. Someone who makes me laugh

When you were little you wanted to be?
A singer. Step aside Britney haha.

Your biggest relationship deal breaker (or turn off) is?
Rudeness and bad hygiene.

What do you like to do for fun or to relax?
I love going for Promenade walks at Sunset time, or early mornings (after sunrise though.) I also love curling up on the couch with a good book, movie or binge watching a series.

Best surprise gift you ever received from your partner or a loved one?
My proposal and engagement ring.

If you could instantly download a special skills or super powers like an app what would they be?
To be able to teleport anywhere in the world. I love to travel, so this would be a dream.

Right now, what are you completely obsessed with?
I’m obsessed with binge watching series. I can’t do the whole wait-a-week-for-the-next-episode anymore.

What would people be surprised to know about you?
I donated my Labrador Puppy to the Guide Dogs Association. It was a bitter sweet moment, but I knew she was born a guide dog. Today, she works with an elderly gentleman who has been blind from birth.

What are you most looking forward to this year?
I’m having my first child, a baby boy on the way (due end June/5 July) and I can’t wait to meet him. He’s already so loved.

What can’t you live without?
To be honest, my laptop and phone. Argh, I hate having that as my answer, but it’s true. I don’t know what I’d do without my gadgets.

Who is your favourite celeb #couplegoals duo?
I love Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum – they just seem so real and aren’t afraid to show that they’re in love (but not in a soppy TMI on social media way either.)

Favourite Clothing Brand? Aw that’s so hard to make me choose because I love so many different brands and local designers. I couldn’t just choose one!
Favourite childhood memory? Eating ice cold juicy watermelon on a hot summers day at St. Francis Bay, where my family and I used to holiday. We spent our days on the beach and I loved how my hair turned blonder, my skin browner as we made sand castles and scared each other with those little sea snails.
Favourite go to hangout? I love hanging out at my home, or even visiting friends… but I love heading to Jarryd’s or Tasha’s for Breakfast. Cafe Caprice is the best for sundowners!
Favourite local sportsman? I’ve chosen sportswoman Caster Semenya. I love how she has overcome diversity and never ever given up. She’s inspirational to women and our nation as a whole.
Are you a Wine, champagne or a cocktail kinda girl? It depends on the occasion. I love a glass of champagne, but my go-to is usually a glass of rosé or Sauvignon Blanc.
