Lindy Hibbard is a born and bred Capetonian from Durbanville. She co-presents Smile Breakfast with Bobby Brown on Smile 90.4FM and has been with the station since 2013.

Not just a pretty face, Lindy has had over 10 years experience in the radio broadcasting industry having presented shows on campus radio, online radio and retail radio stations.

She is a big animal lover and a fitness fanatic, and she also has a BA degree from UCT majoring in radio broadcasting – that’s why she is definitely our Woman Crush Wednesday!

Who is your celebrity crush and why
Leonardo DiCaprio. He’s been my celeb crush since I was 13 and I’ve admired him more & more over the years because of his acting prowess, his advocacy for environmental causes and, of course, he’s sexy!

What do you look for in a man?
He must respect women (especially his mom), be attentive, take care of himself and live a healthy lifestyle, be career-driven, make me laugh!

When you were little you wanted to be?
Catwoman or a radio DJ

Your biggest relationship deal breaker (or turn off) is?
Dishonesty

What do you like to do for fun or to relax?
I go for a run – it clears my head and always puts me in a good mood.

Best surprise gift you ever received from your partner or a loved one?
My aunt gave me the only original photograph of my late grandparents on their wedding day in 1930. I was very close to my grandmother, so I treasure it.

If you could instantly download a special skills or super powers like an app what would they be?
Speed-reading / speaking multiple languages, and never-ending energy

Right now, what are you completely obsessed with? 
Coconut water & Woodkid (he’s an amazing video director, graphic designer and singer-songwriter)

I’m pretty good with accents.

What are you most looking forward to this year?
Travelling to Mozambique.

My phone.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. They showed up to a pajama party wearing KFC onesies – I mean come on!
