After many delays and date-changes, we’re finally getting to see some highly-anticipated releases arriving in March, including a return of the Dark Knight to the big-screen, along with some other interesting projects.

The Batman

Release date: 4 March 2022

While we’ve seen a few iterations of DC’s iconic vigilante crime-fighter, The Batman promises to bring a darker and more mature look at the hero. Directed by Matt Reeves (Planet of the Apes), The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as a more young and violent Bruce Wayne, pushed to his limit by Paul Dana’s Riddler.

Ambulance

Release date: 25 March 2022

Since his tenure with the Transformers franchise came to an end, Michael Bay is focusing on smaller, character-driven action films, and his latest, Ambulance, sounds like another intriguing project. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal (Source CodePrisoners) and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman) as a pair of bank robbers who steal an ambulance containing a paramedic (Baby Driver‘s Eiza González) and a patient in critical condition.

Jackass Forever

Release date: 11 March 2022

After ten years, those kids of chaos are back for their final crusade. The old faces, such as Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and Wee Man are all making their return for another round of prank and stunt-filled shenanigans, while also introducing some new faces to the crew.

Turning Red

Release date: 11 March 2022

Pixar’s latest offbeat animated comedy Turning Red will undoubtedly delight many parents and kids this March. Mei Lee is a 13-year-old girl who suddenly “poofs” into a giant red panda when she gets too excited (which is practically always). Her mother, Ming, is protective, if not slightly overbearing, and never far from her daughter – an unfortunate reality for the coming-of-age teenager.

The Contractor

Release date: 18 March 2022

Star Trek’s Chris Pine stars in this action thriller following James Harper (Pine), who is involuntarily discharged from the U.S. Special Forces. To support his family, he joins a private contracting organisation alongside his best friend, under the command of a fellow veteran. Overseas on a covert mission, Harper must evade those trying to kill him while he makes his way back home.
