The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It

Release date: 4 June 2021

The now long-running Conjuring franchise continues with the third primary instalment in the mainline series, bringing back Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as Lorraine and Ed Warren, who investigate the true-life story of the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect claimed demonic possession as a defence.

Awake

Release date: 9 June 2021 (Netflix)

Global hysteria ensues after a mysterious catastrophe wipes out all electronics and takes away humanity’s ability to sleep. Scientists race against the clock to find a cure for the unexplained insomnia before its fatal effects eliminate the human race. Awake stars Gina Rodriguez and Ariana Greenblatt.

The Misfits

Release date: 11 June 2021

Pierce Brosnan, Rami Jaber, Hermione Corfield, and Jamie Chung star in this action flick about a band of modern-day Robin Hoods, who recruit a renowned thief to help steal millions in gold bars stashed underneath one of the world’s most secure prisons.

The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard

Release date: 16 June 2021

Starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is a sequel to the 2017 film The Hitman’s Bodyguard and picks up a few years after the first film, where Reynolds and Jackson’s characters have to reunite their uneasy alliance for a new mission. Salma Hayek, Frank Grillo, Richard E. Grant, Tom Hopper, Antonio Banderas and Morgan Freeman also feature.

Fast & Furious 9: The Fast Saga

Release date: 25 June 2021

The big, bombastic, and over-the-top action franchise is back, and this instalment promises to the boldest of the series. Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most.
