Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Release date: 5 May 2023
This May, we get to find out what’s next for Marvel’s intergalactic heroes, as the third Guardians of the Galaxy film makes its debut. The threequel stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, and Pom Klementieff, with Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper lending their voices to Groot and Rocket once more. The cast has been bolstered by Will Poulter, who plays Adam Warlock. The plot itself will dive into the backstory of Rocket and the other Guardians, while the team has to save the universe from a new threat putting the whole universe in harm’s way.
Beau is Afraid
Release date: 5 May 2023
Described as a “surrealist tragicomedy horror film”, Beau is Afraid stars Joaquin Phoenix as the title character, Beau Wassermann, a mild-mannered but paranoia-ridden man who embarks on a surreal odyssey to get home to his mother, confronting his greatest fears along the way.
Hypnotic
Release date: 12 May 2023
One of the most interesting-looking thrillers arriving in 2023 is that of Hypnotic. Starring Ben Affleck, Alice Braga, and William Fichtner, the film follows a detective who becomes entangled in a mystery involving his missing daughter and a secret government program, while investigating a string of impossible high-end heists.
Fast & Furious 10
Release date: 19 May 2023
The wheels just keep on turning for the series that never dies, as the tenth instalment in the Fast and Furious franchise arrives this May. The franchise introduces Jason Momoa (Aquaman) as the lead villain, who was wronged by the Fast crew in years gone by; and sees the return of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, John Cena, Jason Statham, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, and others.

Release date: 26 May 2023
Gerard Butler (300) stars in this action thriller about a CIA Black Ops agent and his Afghan interpreter who must evade deadly forces as they escape Iran after a whistleblower reveals that the agent destroyed a nuclear facility.
