5 Must-Watch Movies of February 2023
Check out what’s coming to the big-screen this February.

February is bringing a wealth of exciting movies on the big-screen to indulge in, including an important entry in the on-going Marvel Cinematic Universe, along with a spooky and mysterious release from M. Night Shyamalan. We’ve rounded up the biggest movies releasing in February 2023, below:
The Banshees of Inisherin
Release date: 3 February 2023
Reuniting Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson (who worked on In Bruges together), The Banchees of Inisherin is a dramedy set on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland. It follows two lifelong friends who find themselves at an impasse when one abruptly ends their relationship, with alarming consequences for both of them. Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan also star.
Knock at the Cabin
Release date: 3 February 2023
Master of the movie twists, M. Night Shyamalan, has been quiet as of late, but the Signs and The Village director has a new unnerving movie on the horizon called Knock at the Cabin, which is undoubtedly filled with some unsuspecting outcomes. The film stars Dave Bautista (Dune, Guardians of the Galaxy franchise), Tony award and Emmy nominee Jonathan Groff (Hamilton, Mindhunter), and Ben Aldridge (Pennyworth, Fleabag) and follows a young girl and her parents who are taken hostage by four armed strangers while vacationing at a remote cabin.
The Whale
Release date: 10 February 2023
The Mummy star Brendan Fraser is having a resurgence of sorts, and it’s very much thanks to his performance in The Whale. Directed by Darren Aronofsky, the film follows a reclusive English teacher who attempts to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Release date: 17 February 2023
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania picks up a few years after Avengers: Endgame, whereby Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) explore the Quantum Realm along with their family and face Kang the Conqueror (played by Lovecraft Country and Loki‘s Jonathan Majors). The cast also includes Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, and Randall Park.
Cocaine Bear
Release date: 24 February 2023
You’re probably thinking, a movie called Cocaine Bear is probably not about a bear on cocaine, but, it is. The latest film from Pitch Perfect 2 and Charlie’s Angels director Elizabeth Banks is based on a true story, whereby a bear got into some cocaine that was discarded from a plane, after which all chaos broke loose. The film stars Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson Jr, Christian Convery-Jennings, Alden Ehrenreich, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
