A Monster is Thrown into WW2 in the Trailer for ‘Orang Ikan’
Check out the trailer for this horror that follows two prisoners of war who have to fight a monster on a deserted island.
We’ve seen some pretty interesting plots in the horror genre as of late, and Orang Ikan looks to be another must-watch for creature-feature-connoisseurs.
Set in 1942 at the height of World War II, the film follows a Japanese ship transporting prisoners of war. When the is torpedoed by Allied submarines, two POWs — Saito and Bronson — are thrown overboard and washed ashore on a deserted island. But they are not alone. Bronson and Saito are hunted by a monstrous creature – the Orang Ikan – who will stop at nothing until both men are dead.
Bronson and Saito must put aside their hatred for one another to survive the island and kill the creature before it kills them first.
There’s no release date just yet, but the trailer says “coming soon”, so we’ll be keeping our eyes out for this one.
