The Ant-Man film has had a pretty bumpy ride through Hollywood since development on the project began, but Marvel’s next superhero origin story has finally got its first trailer.

The film stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly, with Peyton Reed taking the director’s seat for the movie.

Ant-Man follows con-man Scott Lang, who is armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, but Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

    Looks like its going to be awesome! Paul Rudd was a great choice to play Antman.

      Ya, he definitely can hold down an action movie as a leading man, excited to see how it turns out.

    Ya I’m keen to see how it turns out. It could either be awesome or completely lame. I don’t think there will be a middle ground for this one. Rudd looks like he’s gotten into good shape for the role.
