Assassin’s Creed Movie: First Shot of Michael Fassbender
Check out the first on-set shot of Fassbender in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie.

The live-action Assassin’s Creed film is one of the biggest video game movie adaptations coming our way in 2016, and while we are yet to see a trailer for the highly-anticipated big-screen outing, we are starting to get some glimpses of Ubisoft and Michael Fassbender’s ambitious project.
Following the reveal of the logo (which is pretty much what we expected) and poster, we now have a look at Mr. Fassbender, who will play Callum Lynch in the movie, a new character to the AC universe.
The X-Men and 12 Years a slave actor also has said that he’s been playing the game itself for months.
“I’ve played it since mainly to get an idea of the physicality of the character,” he said. “We believe the whole concept around it is special and want to service that the best we can. The fans are really passionate: very specific and they expect accuracy and historical detail. We’re really trying to capitalize and feed on and enjoy the fun element. We’re working hard to make this something special.”
Marion Cotillard stars alongside Fassbender, in addition to Michael Kenneth Williams and Ariane Labed, also pictured in the new photo. Shooting on the pic recently began in Malta, London and Spain.
Assassin’s Creed hits theatres December 2016.
