Bad Boys 3 Is Happening
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are set for another patrol with a third Bad Boys film in the works.
Fans of the cop-action extravaganza series should be fist-pumping in the air right now, as Bad Boys 3 is officially a thing. That’s right – Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey are set to return.
In an interview with talk show host Conan O’Brien, Martin Lawrence (who played Marcus) confirmed that a third instalment into the famed franchise is in development.
“I believe so, yes. I just talked to Jerry Bruckheimer yesterday and he said it’s real; they’re working on the script, they’re getting close, and it all looks good,” said Lawrence when asked about the possibility of Bad Boys 3.
Bad Boys 2 released in 2003 and made a truckload at the box-office, over $273 million, so another patrol for everyone’s favourite chaotic police officers should be another huge hit.
