Captain America: Civil War – First Trailer Released
Catch a glimpse of Cap and Iron Man’s highly-anticipated standoff in the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War.
Marvel learns from their mistakes. Last year, the Avengers: Age Of Ultron trailer leaked after finding it’s way online before the official reveal. Marvel and Disney weren’t taking chances this time around, and they’d told virtually nobody that the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War was about to land.
Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. themselves visited late night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, to premier the new trailer for the film, which also stars Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Martin Freeman, Elizabeth Olsen, Daniel Bruhl, Frank Grillo and William Hurt. Joe and Anthony Russo are directing the movie, returning after Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Here’s the official synopsis for the movie…
‘Captain America: Civil War’ picks up where ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
