Hulk & Thor Go Head-to-Head in First Thor: Ragnarok Trailer

Thor faces his biggest challenge in the upcoming Marvel sequel.

Although Thor was last seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron, it’s been since November 2013 that the God of Thunder led his own movie. This year, Thor: Ragnarok will finally return moviegoers to his world, where the blonde Avenger must confront the gods when Asgard is threatened with Ragnarok, the Norse apocalypse.

While details were scarce, the first trailer for the film has finally been released, and we now have a good look at what the Taika Waititi directed sequel entails.

We get a lot of Thor himself (sporting a new, shorter hairstyle), Cate Blanchett as the villain Hela, and Hulk in a snippet of the iconic gladiator battle scene from the Planet Hulk comic book storyline.

Thor: Ragnarok will hit cinemas later this year.
