Independence Day: Resurgence – First Trailer Lands
Here’s the first look at the highly-anticipated Independence Day sequel.
It’s kind of hard to believe we’re finally getting a sequel to 1996’s Independence Day, but hey, we are getting a Star Wars sequel too, so anything can happen in Hollywood it seems.
Director Roland Emmerich will deliver the sci-fi blockbuster to us next year, and the first trailer for the film has been released.
Will Smith doesn’t return to take on the extraterrestrial baddies again though. He is, however, the only major player absent for the upcoming sequel: Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman and Vivica A. Fox will all be fighting the good fight alongside new blood Liam Hemsworth, Jessie Usher and Maika Monroe.
