Jason Statham Hunts the World’s Biggest Shark in ‘Meg’ [Trailer]

There’s been some classic shark movies in past years, with Jaws and Deep Blue Sea being standout entries, but they’ve all lacked one thing: Jason Statham.

After taking on Dwayne Johnson in the Fast & Furious franchise, along with just about everything else that has two legs, the British badass was inevitably going to battle the ocean’s most dangerous predator.

Meg, which is a deceivingly-cute nickname for the Megaladon, the giant prehistoric shark species, stars Mr Statham alongside Li Bingbing (Transformers: Age of Extinction), Ruby Rose, and Rainn Wilson as they try to take down a ship-sized shark.

It looks like a lot of fun, a little over-the-top, and just what we need to kick-off the big movie season in 2018!
