John Woo’s ‘Silent Night’ Looks Like an Awesome John Wick-Inspired Revenge Shoot-‘Em-Up
Check out the first trailer for John Woo’s newest slow-mo bullet-fest, Silent Night.

Hard Boiled, Face-Off, and Mission Impossible II director John Woo has been quiet for a few years, but the acclaimed action director is back with his new film, Silent Night, and the trailer has arrived.
Silent Night stars Joel Kinnaman as a father aggrieved by the death of his child as a result of being caught in the crossfire of a gang fight. While recovering from a wound that costs him his voice, he makes vengeance his life’s mission and embarks on a punishing training regimen in order to avenge his son’s death.
Taking the damage to the protagonist’s voice a step further, the film features no dialogue, which will make for an interesting spin on the genre.
Full of Woo’s signature style, Silent Night reignites the action genre with a visceral, no-holds-barred rollercoaster, and we can’t wait to check it out.
Silent Night hits cinemas on 1 December.
