Karl Urban Gruesomely Hunts Superheroes in Amazon’s New Show ‘The Boys’

While we’re in the golden-age of superhero movies and TV shows, not many are telling the story from the perspective of the average citizen and how these super-powered beings are affecting our lives.

Well, Amazon Prime’s new show, The Boys (based on the best-selling comic by Garth Ennis) follows Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) who decides that the unseen atrocities committed by superheroes need to be accounted for and they deserve to be punished.

Butcher recruits The Boys who have all been wronged by The Seven, the world’s most notorious superheroes, to bring them down and stop the corruption.
