Kristen Stewart Fights Sea-Monsters in the First Trailer for ‘Underwater’

There’s been a few creatures-from-the-deep films in recent times, with this year’s Crawl and 47 Meters Down: Uncaged reminding people why they should always be afraid to dip their toes in the water. But Underwater takes a sci-fi spin on the phobia, following a group of scientists on a drilling expedition at the bottom of the ocean who awaken some mysterious sea monsters.

Directed by William Eubank (who helmed the brilliant yet underrated The Signal), the film also stars Kristen Stewart (Twilight, Charlie’s Angels), TJ Miller (Deadpool), Vincent Cassel, John Gallagher Jr., and Jessica Henwick.

Underwater only hits cinemas in 2020, but you can check out the trailer above.
