New Lead Actor For Indiana Jones Targetted
A new Hollywood hero is set to become the swashbuckling archeologist for the next adventure.
While the last Indiana Jones outing, 2008’s Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, leaving a not-so pleasant taste in everyone’s mouths, the franchise is needing a little shake-up going forward, and that’s apparently what it’s set to get.
Deadline is reporting that Chris Pratt is now being eyes for the iconic role. If this turns out to be true, Star Lord will be grabbing the famous hat and whip for a whole new Earthbound adventure.
This will be Pratt’s third big franchise he lands, after his breakout in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy and his new role in the upcoming Jurassic World.
Disney recently gained the rights to the Indiana Jones franchise from Paramount in 2013, and will be looking to reinvigorate the series as is happening with Star Wars.
