New Terminator: Genisys Trailer Shows A Lot More Arnie Action
Check out the second trailer for the upcoming Terminator: Genisys.
He said he’d be back, and he wasn’t kidding. Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to his iconic steel-clad role as a time-travelling robot assassin in the fifth instalment in the Terminator franchise, entitled Genisys (don’t ask why they spell it that way), and the film has now got its second trailer.
To be honest, the first trailer left a little to be desired, but we’ve got to say, this new TV spot shows a lot more promise from the long-in-development sequel.
In terms of the plot, Genisys takes place in the 2029. John Connor, leader of the resistance continues the war against the machines. At the Los Angeles offensive, John’s fears of the unknown future begin to emerge when TECOM spies reveal a new plot by SkyNet that will attack him from both fronts; past and future, and will ultimately change warfare forever.
Terminator: Genisys is scheduled for a July 2015 release. Check out the trailer below:
