New Trailers: Godzilla vs Kong 2 & Furiosa: A Mad Max Story

Warner Bros. cinematic line-up is looking pretty jam-packed leading into 2024, with the studio delivering two big franchise entries, including the follow-up to 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong, and a prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road. Both of which have now received brand-new trailers, giving us a closer-look at what’s in store for the blockbuster releases.

First and foremost, the anticipated next entry into Legendary and WB’s Monsterverse is now titled Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, emphasising the uneasy (but necessary) alliance that the iconic nuclear lizard and giant ape have forged to fight off the other Titans on Earth.

The film is set for release on 21 April 2024. Here is the trailer:

On the prequel side of things, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga will tell the story of Furiosa, who was played by Charlize Theron in 2015’s Mad Mad: Fury Road. This time, The Queen’s Gambit Anya Taylor-Joy takes on the role of the legendary warrior who has to fight for survival in a ravaged, petro-fueled post-apocalyptic world.

Furiosa will land in cinemas on 24 May 2024. Check out the trailer below:
