The next James Bond film will see Daniel Craig going head-to-head with Christoph Waltz.

The Django Unchained actor will play the villain in the upcoming 24th Bond film, and is set to take the role that at one stage was earmarked for Chiwetel Ejiofor. The news was broken by Daily Mail reporter Baz Bamingboye on Twitter, whose Bond information to date has been very good.  Furthermore, the production is set to shoot in Mexico, Morocco, Italy, Austria and London this time around.

Waltz and Craig will also be joined by Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris, who are reprising their roles from 2012’s Skyfall. New additions to the cast include Dave Bautista (off the back of his Guardians Of The Galaxy success) and Lea Seydoux.

Skyfall director Sam Mendes is returning to helm the film.

It’s still currently scheduled for release in October 2015, although one or two websites seem to be reporting a November 2016 release.
