Ryan Reynolds As Deadpool: First In-Costume Image Released
Get a glimpse of Mr Reynolds all suited up for his role as Wade Wilson/Deadpool.
It’s still a little hard to believe that a Deadpool movie is actually happening, and as the gears get moving on shooting the film, Ryan Reynolds has given us a first-look at himself as the merc-with-a-mouth.
Reynolds tweeted a picture of himself in costume… lying on a bear rug… in front of a fireplace. Typical Deadpool, really…

It’s now safe to say that director Tim Miller has gone with a pretty true-to-source appearance for the costume, featuring the bright-red black and red style.
Accompanying the image, we now also have a first synopsis for the movie, that begins shooting in Vancouver shortly. It reads:
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool is released in cinemas in February 2016, with Ryan Reynolds leading the cast. Joining him will be Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano and T J Miller. Tim Miller directors, from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
