Snyder Officially Unveils New Batmobile For Batman Vs Superman

After numerous teases over the last couple months from Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder, the director has finally lifted the veil on the new re-imagining of the famed superhero vehicle.

Last week, we saw some leaked pictures from the set. The pictures were supposedly snapped by fans on the Detroit set of the upcoming superhero movie, who then posted them on Instagram and Twitter. The initial shots appeared on Instagram user Amacro13′s account, but he has since made it private.

The design isn’t all that surprising based on the gritty look that Zack Snyder has already shown off with the costumes in the movie. The tyres and angular design of the body undoubtedly borrows from Christopher Nolan’s version in the Dark Knight trilogy, but it also takes inspiration the longer, flatter look from Tim Burton’s movies.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters in March 2016.
