TRAILER: Rami Malek Goes Full John Wick in the The Amateur

The action-revenge genre is fiery hot at the moment, and we’re getting another vengeance-fueled thriller with The Amateur, starring Oscar-winner Rami Malek and Laurence Fishburne.

The film follows Charlie Heller (Malek), a brilliant, but deeply introverted decoder working for the CIA. After his life is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a London terrorist attack and his supervisors refuse to take action, he takes matters into his own hands, embarking on a dangerous trek across the globe to track down those responsible. However, instead of sheer brute force, Heller uses his intelligence as the ultimate weapon for hunting down and getting his revenge.

The film also stars Rachel Brosnahan, Caitríona Balfe, Jon Bernthal, Michael Stuhlbarg, Holt McCallany, Julianne Nicholson, Adrian Martinez, Danny Sapani, and Laurence Fishburne.
