Watch: Mary Elizabeth Winstead Goes Full John Wick in the Trailer for ‘Kate’
Netflix’s Kate could be the answer to John Wick.
We’ve seen a few female-led action movies as of late, and another release throwing its name into the hat is the gritty-looking Kate, starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Woody Harrelson.
The Netflix film follows a doomed-assassin named Kate, who is poisoned by one of her victims and has less than 24 hours to exact revenge on her enemies, and in the process, forms an unexpected bond with the daughter of one of her past victims.
The film looks brutal, tense, and a great showcase for Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who has been delivering fantastic performances over the years and has long-deserved another starring role.
Kate hits Netflix on 10 September 2021.
