We’re beyond excited – the second installment to the Maze Runner trilogy, The Scorch Trials, is on its way soon, and the trailer for the film has just been released and it looks pretty epic.

Directed by Wes Ball, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials opens in South African cinemas on 25 September 2015 and welcomes back the cast from the first film as well as few newbies. In this next chapter Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD’s vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all.

The first film was one of our favourite movies of 2014 and we’re expecting the sequel to deliver on the expectations too.
