T2 Trainspotting is one of the biggest movie releases this month, and with the long-awaited sequel hitting cinemas next weekend, we’re giving our readers the chance to see the film early, because, well… why not.

We’ve teamed up with Sony Movies SA to give away 10 sets of double tickets, so 10 lucky winners and their plus-ones can enjoy the film on Wednesday, 22 February, at Ster-Kinekor Rosebank (Johannesburg) at 8pm, days ahead of its national release date on 24 February. Attendees will also be treated to free popcorn and soft drinks.

The cast of the original (Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, and Robert Carlyle) all return for another round of debauchery in the Danny Boyle-directed sequel. It sees a fresh faced Renton (McGregor) reunited with his pals Spud, Begbie and Sick Boy 20 years after their original escapade, but things aren’t as hunky-dory as Renton expects. Here’s the official synopsis:

After decades apart, Renton, Begbie, Sick Boy and Spud reconnect in Edinburgh. Much has changed, but much remains the same. Before they can embrace their future, these four friends will have to confront what happened in the past in this story of friendship, loyalty, vengeance and betrayal.

Cool, so how do I enter?

Email competitions@menstuff.co.za with your name, contact details, and age, and if you’re randomly selected, we will get in touch with you to let you know you’ve been given a set of double tickets. Winners will be notified via email on 20 February, 17:00. T&Cs apply.
