Kanye West’s Got A New Track

Kanye West, a man who clearly likes to embarrass  himself in public (e.g. The notorious Taylor Swift incident), has released a new track called “Theraflu” where he raps “can’t a young n*gger get money anymore”  before he professes his love for Kim Kardashian, and talks about $6,000 shoes. I smell some inconsistencies….

There is no doubt that Kanye West is one of the best rappers of our time. However, when he starts releasing generic “money, women, power” hip-hop tunes, one needs to ask where his style and artistic expression is heading.

It will be interesting to see what his next couple of songs sound like – I remain optimistic.
