My Chemical Romance Get Back In The Studio

My Chemical Romance will be entering the studio next month to record the follow up to their 2010 album ‘Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys.’ Guitarist Frank Iero opened up about the new material saying that “were going really well” and he and his bandmates “couldn’t wait to start tracking”.

When asked about the writing process for their 5th studio release, Iero said: “It’s going really well, actually. I’m really excited. I can’t wait to start tracking. I think we’re maybe a month away from the record button lighting up.”

The band also confirmed that former Suicide File drummer Jarrod Alexander would be playing drums on the upcoming release. Iero also spoke about Alexanders drumming ability as well as his opinion of their former drummer Michael Pedicone;

“Jarrod is a rad guy and a fantastic player. It’s been really fun making music with him these past few months. He loves coffee and hitting drums super-hard and the fact that he’s not a thieving piece of garbage is a breath of fresh air.”
